1¼ c. warm water (105-115º)
1 package active dry yeast
1 t. sugar
2 T. olive oil
2 t. salt
3½- 4 c. all purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine ¼ c. warm water, yeast, and sugar. Stir to dissolve. Let stand until foamy about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in remaining warm water, oil, salt, and 1½ c. flour. Use mixer with kneading hook to mix and add remaining flour. Knead 10 minutes.
3. Shape dough into ball and place in greased bowl to rise for 1 hour.
4. Punch down dough. Turn onto lightly floured surface and cut in half. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
5. Roll onto dough into desired shape.

I often double the recipe and put the remaining crusts in plastic wrap in the freezer for future use. Defrost on counter until room temperature and then roll out.
