1. Milk (3.25%) - 1 L
2. Basmati Rice - 100 g
3. Sugar - 100 g
4. Cashew Nuts - 10 g (Optional)
5. Saffron - 2 mg
6. Cardamom Powder - 5 g

Directions:
Directions:
1.Take milk in an utensil and put it on stove for boiling.
2. Boil for 10 minutes on medium settings.
3. Put washed and dried rice into the boiling milk.
4. Keep the mixture boiling for approximately 15 minutes (The mixture should be thick like molten Ice Cream).
5. Add sugar, cardamom and cashew nuts into the boiling mixture
6. Stir the mixture to properly spread the ingredients and keep it on stove for next 4-5 minutes
7. Bring it down and add saffron into it.
8. Your Kheer is ready. Pour it small bowls and let it cool down. It can be eaten now as well as after cooling for 20-30 minutes in fridge.

1. When rice and other ingredients mixed, keep staring the boiling mixture to avoid sticking
2. Break the Cashew Nuts into small pieces before adding it
