1 packet yeast (2 Tbsp.)
1/2 c. milk, scalded and cooled
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast and 1 Tbsp. sugar in warm milk and 3/4 c. flour to make a sponge. Let rise for 45 minutes. Cream butter with brown sugar and well beaten egg. Add to flour mixture. Add flour to make dough and salt. Knead lightly (soft dough). Grease bowl and let rise for 2 hours. Roll out 1/2 inch thick. Cover with cinnamon and sugar. Roll and cut into rolls. Let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 350º on center rack. Top with desired frosting.
