1 large egg white
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 1/2 c. pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Beat egg white until soft and foamy. Combine all remaining ingredients except pecans. Whisk into egg white. Stir pecans until well coated, spread mixture in single layer on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 15 minutes. Remove, toss, stir, and separate nuts. Reduce oven to 250º, bake 10 minutes or until medium brown. Remove, toss and stir again. Place baking pan on wire rack to cool. (They will crisp as they cool). Break up any that may stick together. Store in airtight container.
