1 BAG GREEN SPLIT PEAS
1 DICED HAM OR HAM BONE
1 ONION CHOPPED
1 STALK CELERY SLICED (OPTIONAL)
CARROT (SHREDDED OR CHOPPED)
1.5 CUPS DICED HASH BROWN POTATOES (I USE ORA IDA OR PUBLIX FROZEN)
4 TO 5 CUPS WATER
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
1 BAY LEAF














Directions:
Directions:
SAUTE VEGGIES IN SOUP POT APPROX 5 MINUTES
ADD WATER, SALT, PEPPER, HAM, BAY LEAVE
BRING TO BOIL, THEN SIMMER APPROX 1HOUR
REMOVE BAY LEAVE AND DISCARD

SOUP WILL THICKEN THE LONGER IT COOKS
