2 c warm water
1 c buttermilk
2 pkg dry yeast
2 tsp salt
3¼c whole wheat flour
¾c rye flour
5c white flour
2 tbs butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Warm water and buttermilk
2. Add yeast and sugar + 3 tbs flour and set aside for 10 minutes
3. Mix flours, salt
4. Add wet to dry ingredients and stir until semi stiff dough
5. Cover and let rest for 1 hour
6. Divide into 4 pieces
7. Roll each piece to @ 3/4 inch thick and pierce liberally with fork tine
8. Bake @ 350ºF until slightly brown
