8 cups of chicken broth (i make this from a previously baked chicken or turkey)
2 tsp salt
IN a tea ball add 1½ tsp pepper kernels and 2 star aniseed
1 small onion
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp dried parsley or 1 spring of parsley
2 cups of a baked chicken cut up

Put everything into a pot and put on stove to boil. Once boiling turn down heat to med -low. Cook for about an hour or more. While this is cooking. Boil some homemade noodles or egg noodles bought from the store. Add as much of the soup base as you would like to your cooked noodles. YUMMY !

Depending if I have frozen broth or not, I will at times substitute store bought chicken broth and add water and 1 tbsp of chicken soup powder. The original homemade cooked broth is always the best.
