Crust:
15 oz Hydrox or Oreo type cookies, crushed
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine

Middle:
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
6 oz. salted peanuts

Sauce:
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup margarine or butter

Crust:
Mix the crushed cookies and butter. Put in 9 x 13 pan and pat down flat. Chill one hour.

Middle:
Spread the softened ice cream on the chocolate crust layer. Sprinkle with 6 oz. salted peanuts. Press nuts into ice cream. Freeze until hard.

Sauce:
Mix together in a pan the powdered sugar, evaporated milk, chocolate chips and butter and bring to boil, boil 8 minutes stirring often. Cool well and pour over ice cream. Return to freezer and freeze.
