1/2 c. soft butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts
a little vanilla
10 oz. frozen strawberries (thawed)
2 egg whites unbeaten
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 c. whipped cream

Mix butter, brown sugar, flour, nuts and vanilla. Put mixture in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 300º for about 20 minutes, stirring a few times to keep crumbly. Cool completely. Keep some of the crumbs for topping. Mix strawberries, egg whites, lemon juice and sugar. Beat until stiff (about 20 minutes). Add whipped cream. Pour on top of crumb mixture in pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over the top. Freeze. Can be kept up to 2 weeks.
