1pkg Duncan Hines Butter Cake Mix
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 TB brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four jjingredients. Add eggs and sour cream. Mix well and add nuts if you are including those. Pour batter into a greased tube pan that has been sprinkled with white sugar. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter, the swirl til mixed.

Bake at 350 for one hour. Cool for 1/2 hour before taking out of the pan.

This was served at a book club I attend in my new neighborhood. Although I already have a sour cream pound cake recipe in the cookbook that was given to me by Gerry's Mom, this one comes together a lot more quickly. Both are really good!
