2 cups of shortening
2 cups of sugar
2 large eggs
1 16 oz. Can of pumpkin
4 cups of all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Whip shortening for a few minutes until fluffy
2. Slowly add in sugar at medium mixing speed.
3. Add in egg and pumpkin, mix well.
4. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and ground cinnamon. Add to pumpkin mixture.
5. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips.
6. Ball spoonfuls of dough and place on a greased cookie sheet.
7. Bake at 350ºF for 12-15 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.
8. Let stand to cool on wire rack.
