1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2-1/2 cups dry oatmeal (blended until powdery)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 - 12 oz bag semisweet chocolate chips
1 - 4 oz plain Hershey bar (grated)
Optional: 1-1/2 cups of nuts (blended); 1 cup shredded coconut

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar together.
3. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
4. Then add flour and blended oatmeal slowly to the bowl while mixing.
5. Add salt, power and soda.
6. Once mixed well, fold in chips and grated chocolate.
7. Using teaspoon or cookie scoop put onto ungreased cookie sheets.
8. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Cookies should be light brown and slightly soft to the touch. Keep in longer if needed but watch closely.
