2 ¼ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 c. butter
½ c. sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Milk Chocolate Chips
Nuts, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
Add vanilla and egg, beat well. Add flour baking soda and salt. Mix well.
Add chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.
For different varieties – change milk chocolate chips to white chocolate and add macadamia nuts.
If you want to double the recipe, use half butter and half Crisco.
