1 - 1/2 Cups All Bran cereal (Herb uses Raisin Bran and doesn't add raisins).
1 Cup Buttermilk
1/3 Cup olive or canola oil
1 Large egg
2/3 Cup Brown sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup All Putpse Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Raisins

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Lightly grease muffin tins or use paper liners from the store.
In a medium-sized bowl, soak All Bran and buttermilk for 10 minutes until soggy.

Add oil, egg, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, flour, salt and raisins.
Stir to combine thoroughly.
Divide batter equally between 12 cups.

Bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes, then lower temperature ro 350 degrees and continue baking for another 11 or 12 minutes.
