12 medium carrots, peeled & sliced
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. buttered bread crumbs
1 small onion
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. dry mustard (optional)
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/2 lb. Velveeta or American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots & drain. Cook onion in butter for 2-3 minutes. Stir in flour, salt, dry mustard, milk. Cook until thickened. Add celery salt & pepper. Arrange carrots and cut-up cheese slices in a 2 quart casserole dish. Pour sauce over top and sprinkle buttered crumbs over this. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 39 minutes.
