1 3/4 c old fashioned oats
1 c flour
3/4 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2/3 c butter softened
1 c light brown sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
3 oz melted milk chocolate melted and cooled
1 c choc chips
1 c pecans or walnuts chopped

Place 1 c oats in food processor and mixed until ground. Transfer to large bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda,and salt.

With mixer, beat butter and brown sugar together until well blended. Scrape down sides. Add egg and vanilla and beat until fluffy. Add melted chocolate and beat. Add flour mixture, beat on low. Add remaining 3/4 c oats, chocolate chips and nuts.

Roll 2 T of dough into balls and space 2" apart. Bake 14-18 minutes.
