For the crust:
1 cup finely ground walnuts
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the cheesecake:
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs

For the baklava layer:
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup granulated sugar
8 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the syrup:
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup granulated sugar but
1 teaspoon lemon juice

1)Preheat oven to 325°F
2)Mix ground walnuts, graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. 3)Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
4)In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
5) Pour over crust.
Toss chopped walnuts with cinnamon and sugar. Place a sheet of phyllo on a work surface; brush with melted butter. Repeat with remaining phyllo sheets and butter. 6)Sprinkle the walnut mixture over the top phyllo layer.
7)Cut the baklava into squares, then lay the squares over the cheesecake layer.
Bake for 60 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
For the syrup, combine honey, water, sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly and pour over cooled cheesecake.
Garnish with whole walnuts and fresh mint before serving
