1 lb Italian sweet sausage
1 lb Ground Beef
6 Cups Ready to serve spaghetti sauce
2 Eggs
1 16 oz Ricotta Cheese
1 Tbls Chopped fresh Parsley
Pinch Fennel seed
16 oz Cubed Mozzerella
2 Cups Hot Water Divided
1 lb Lasagna Noodles (uncooked)
½ C Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Cook meats until done, add to spaghetti sauce and simmer 15 min. Combine, eggs, ricotta cheese, parsley and fennel seed. Cover the bottom of a 9x13 pan with spaghetti mixure, add 1 cup boiling water. Lay
Lay a layer of noodles on the bottom of the pan, cover with ricotta
cheese mixture, cover with some meat sauce, and some mozzarella
cubes. Repeat 2 times. Finishing with sauce and mozzarella cubes.
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the casserole. Cover with Foil and
bake for 30 min in a preheated 400 oven. Remove foil, noodles should
be tender but not done. Bake uncovered for 20 more minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

This is a recipe that my Mom used and gave to me. Very easy to do and one of the best lasagna recipes yet.
