1 cup cocoa
2 1/2 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour two 9-inch found pans. I use 3 -
8 inch pans. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream the margarine and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Sift together the flour, soda and cocoa. Alternately add the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture with the hot water.

Beat until smooth. Pour into the pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center. Cool cake layers 10 minutes, then turn our on racks and cool completely. Do not get upset if the layers split. They will go together and the icing will cover it up.

Cake Icing:
2/3 Cup of Butter
6 oz. Cream Cheese
4 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 1/4 Cup Cocoa
1/2 Cup Half & Half
2 teaspoons Vanilla

Cream butter and cream cheese in the mixer. Sift the cocoa and powered sugar and add alternately with the Half & Half. Add vanilla. This will ice all three layers of cake.
