1/4 C water
1 C milk- room temperature
1/2 Tbs. honey
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. yeast
3 1/4 C flour

Directions:
Directions:
If using a bread machine put all ingredients into machine according to directions of machine and process on bread setting.

Warm water to 105º and bloom the yeast by sprinkling over the water and gently mixing then letting rest for a bit. Then add honey, salt, soda, milk and 1 cup flour to mix and mix with dough hook until incorporated. Slowly add the remaining flour until you get a soft dough that is slightly tacky. Remove from bowl and knead for 5 minutes on lightly floured surface. Place in greased bowl and cover and let rise till double in size. Punch down and place in pan that you are going to be baking it in and let sit till almost double. bake at 350º for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown on top and when tapped on sounds hallow.
