1 C sugar
1/2 C butter
2 well beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
3 oz chocolate or 3 Tbs. cocoa
1/2 C milk
1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 1/2 C flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Frosting:
1 C butter softened
4 C powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Pre heat oven to 350º
Cream butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and melted chocolate (or cocoa if using) and beat until eggs are incorporated. Add milk and vanilla and mix. Add flour mixture to butter mixture and mix until you no longer see the flour. Drop by Tbs. onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool completely then frost.

Frosting;

Cream butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Add enough milk to make a spreadable frosting.
