2 1/4 C flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 C butter
1/2 C crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 C white sugar
3/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
12oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C nuts

Pre heat oven to 375º
Sift dry ingredients; set aside. in large bowl mix butter, crisco, sugars and extract and beat until creamy. Add eggs and beat until incorporated. Gradually add in flour mixture and mix just until you no longer see the flour. Stir in the morsels and nuts. Drop by round Tbs. on to cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake about 8-10 minutes.
