1 pound white, deli sliced American cheese
1/2 cups milk or half and half
1 tablespoon butter
1 can of green chilies, diced
2 tablespoons jalapeņos
1/4 cup onions, finely diced
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
in medium saucepan, melt butter. add diced onions and cook till they are translucent. Reduce heat to low. add cubed cheese and milk. Stir continuously until cheese is melted. if dip is too thick add more milk.
Stir in the green chiles, jalapeņos, cumin and garlic powder. mix well
season to taste
