1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
2 well-beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 c. quick oats
1 c. raisins
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine shortening, sugar, and beaten eggs.
Add vanilla. Mix well. combine all dry ingredients except oatmeal, and add tsp frosting mixture. Finally add oats, choco chips, raisins, and nuts. Shape into balls and and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 deg. for 12-15 minutes.
