Great at Christmas. Makes a lot to give away, or not. Of course, there is a lot of butter in it. And sugar. It's rich, though; you can only eat a small piece.

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup butter
1/4 cup corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup sugar
2-3 large (5 oz) Cadbury milk chocolate bars

Mix butter, sugar and flour. Put in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

Over med-high heat, mix butter, corn syrup, milk and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for five minutes. Stir constantly, just like I said. Pour over cooled crust. Refrigerate to set.

Melt the chocolate bars over low heat and then spread over the set caramel layer. Let set before cutting.
