1 pkg cornbread mix ⅔ cup flour
1 tsp ground mustard ½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp chili powder ½ tsp paprika
⅛ tsp ground cumin 1 large egg
1 cup milk 10 hot dogs
10 wooden skewers oil for deep-fat frying




Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. In another bowl, whisk milk and eggs together. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Let stand for 15 minutes. Insert skews into hot dogs. Dip into batter.
In an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375°. Fry corn dogs, a few at a time, for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
