¾ c granulated sugar
2½ c all-purpose flour
¾ c butter, softened
1 tsp baking powder
½ c sour cream
¾ tsp ground allspice
1 large egg
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt

Glaze Ingredients:
1.5 c powdered sugar
2 to 3 Tb milk
Green decorators coloring
Decoration Ingredients:
White nonpareils
White glaze (in squirt bottle)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar & butter in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy (2-3 minutes). Add sour cream, egg & vanilla; continue beating until well mixed (1-2 minutes). Reduce speed to low; add flour, baking powder, allspice, baking soda & salt. Beat until well mixed (1-2 minutes). Cover; refrigerate until firm (at least 2 hours).

Heat oven to 375°F. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface, ½ at a time to ¼” thickness. Cut with 3 to 4” tree-shaped cookie cutter. Place 2” apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool.

Stir together powdered sugar & enough milk for desired glazing consistency; add green food coloring until desired color.

Glaze cookies. Sprinkle edges with nonpareils.
