1 medium onion diced (about 1/2 cup)
3 garlic cloves minced
1/4 cup butter
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 6oz. cans tomato paste
1 28 oz. can stewed Italian tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. Angostura bitters
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. celery salt
2 bay leaves
dash cayenne pepper
1 lb. spaghetti, cooked, al dente and drained
Freshly grated parmesan cheese

In large, heavy kettle, saute onion and garlic in butter and oil until transparent.

Add beef and pork and brown over med heat.

Add all other ingredients and bring to boil. Turn down heat to low and cook for 2 hours.

Serve over noodles and with garlic bread.
