2 c. flour
2 T. sugar
½ tsp. salt
2 ¼ tsp. rapid rise yeast (1 packet)
½ c. warm water
¼ c. unsalted butter
1 large egg

Directions:
Directions:
1 – In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
2 – Add warm water and melted butter to the flour mixture.
3 – Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
4 – Add the egg, ½ c more flour; beat on high for 2 minutes.
5 – Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough (dough will be sticky).
6 – Turn onto a floured surface, knead gently for 6 – 8 times.
7 – Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces; shape into a ball.
8 – Place in a greased 9-inch round baking pan.
9 – Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes.
10 – Preheat oven to 375 – bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden brown.
