6 cups peeled and sliced apples (a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Crust:
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 3-4 tablespoons ice water
For the Crumb Topping:
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup rolled oats
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
. For the crust, combine flour, sugar, and cold butter in a food processor until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a pie dish.
. Fill the crust with the prepared apple mixture.
. In a separate bowl, mix together the crumb topping ingredients until it forms a crumbly texture. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender.
. Allow the pie to cool before serving. Slice, savor, and enjoy the magic!
