1/2 c. butter (softened)
1 (3 oz) pkge. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
1 egg yolk (unbeaten)
1 c. sifted flour
maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & cream cheese, add sugar, vanilla & egg yolk, beat until light. Add flour, salt & mix well. Drop by tsp. on ungreased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with a cherry. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes or very lightly browned
