2 C Sugar
1/2 C Shortening
2 Eggs
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 C Flour
1/2 C Cocoa
3/4 C Sour Milk or Buttermilk
2 tsps. Baking Soda dissolved in 1 C of Boiling Water
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs and salt. Sift flour and coca together.

Alternately add wet & dry ingredients. Then add vanilla.

Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes. About 15 minutes for cup cakes
