1lb mild italian sausage links casing removed(cut into bite size pieces)
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
2 tsp. Fresh basil, chopped
1-1/4 cup flour, divided
2(15-oz) can tomato sauce
2 (8oz) pkgs. mozzarella cheese, shedded
2 eggs,lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1T. Vegetable oil
1tsp. Salt
1/2 cup pecorino-Romano or Parmesan chees, grated

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. In sauce pan, cook sausage, onion, green pepper and basil until sausage is no longer pink and onion are tender. Stir in 1/4 cup of flour; mix well. Add tomato sauce,; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Transfer sausage mixture to a lightly greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan. Top with mozzarella cheese. In a large bowl, combine remaining flour, eggs, milk, oil and salt. Stir until smooth. Stir in grated cheese; pour over sausage mixture. Bake for 30 minutes or to is golden brown. Makes 8 serving.

I have used hot sausage and also added more veggies can always add stuff. It is pizza.
