1 (15 oz) can pineapple
1 (15 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 stick (8 TBSP) butter
whipped topping, if desired
Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9x13 cake pan. In bottom of the pan, put pineapple and cherry pie filling together and stir until evenly blended. On top of this, sprinkle dry cake mix and pat it out evenly. Pour or drizzle the butter and nuts over the cake mix.
Bake at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve with whipped topping, if desired.
