Ingredients:  
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 egg
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, beat in 1 egg, vanilla. Sift together flour baking powder and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Chill 1 hour. Roll dough out on floured table or counter top. Cut out cookies & place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 º for 6-8 minutes.

Sprinkle with colored sugar before baking.

Recipe may be doubled
