1 cup water
1 cup butter
3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ cup sour cream
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Frosting:

6 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup butter
3¾ cups icing sugar

Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease 18" x 13" pan. Add water, butter and cocoa powder to medium saucepan and bring to a boil then remove from heat. In a separate bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, mix sour cream, eggs and vanilla. Add sour/cream egg mixture to flour mixture and mix till combined. Pour cocoa mixture from saucepan into batter and mix till no lumps remain. Pour into prepared pan and spread in even layer. Bake 15-20 minutes or until set. Prepare frosting by adding milk, cocoa and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil then remove from heat and stir in powered sugar with electric beater till smooth. Pour hot icing over hot cake and spread evenly allowing frosting to set for 10 minutes before serving.
