Cream together:
1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar

Add: 1 egg plus 1-2 tsp vanilla

Measure: 1 cup oil (set aside)

Stir together:
4 cups plain flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar

Alternate: adding flour mixture and oil to sugar and egg mixture.

Lastly add:
3-4 cups Rice Krispies (more if needed to make a stiffer batter)


Directions:

Mix as directed above and drop by tsp onto lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 350-375 degrees for approx. 10-12 minutes or until brown.

Makes 7-8 dozen. Freezes well or keep in airtight container.
