1 Cup Unsalted Butter at room temperature
¾ Cup Sugar
¾ Cup packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Large Egg
2½ Cups All-purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 Cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1 Cup coarsely chopped Pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. In another bowl whisk flour, salt, and soda. Gradually add to the butter sugar mixture, mixing well. Once combined, add chips and pecans. For thicker, chewy cookies refrigerate for an hour. Scoop about 1 tbsp on pan. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are brown. Let rest on cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.
