1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1/3 c. tamari or soy sauce
¼ c. beef broth
2 tsp. rice vinegar
2 T. brown sugar
1 T. corn starch
1 inch piece of ginger, grated
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 -4 green onions, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
1 – In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, broth, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and corn starch – Set aside.
2 – In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper.
3 – Reduce heat to medium low and add garlic and ginger to pan. Let cook together until fragment, just 2 – 3 minutes.
4 – Pour sauce into pan and stir. Let simmer and thicken, 1 – 2 minutes.
5 – Stir to coat ground beef with sauce. Add green onions and cook briefly to wilt.
6 – Serve over white rice with steamed vegetables, if desired.
