Casserole:

1 40 oz can of yams
½ tsp salt
⅓ stick of butter
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
½ cup milk

Topping:

¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
⅓ cup self-rising flour
⅓ stick butter
Mini marshmallows (optional)



Directions:
Directions:
Drain and mash yams. Add all other casserole ingredients to the potatoes. Mix well. Place in baking dish and cover with topping. Mix topping ingredients (all except marshmallows) and sprinkle over the top of casserole. Bake for 35 minutes at 350º.

Note: If desired, add mini marshmallows last five minutes of baking.
