Brownies:
4 squares unsweetened chocolate (4 ounces)
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
Optional Chopped nuts
Buttercream:
1/2 stick butter
1 lb confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
milk as needed to thin out cream
Glace:
2 Tbsp butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate

Brownies:
MELT:4 sticks unsweetened chocolate
2 sticks butter
ADD: 1 1/2 cup sugar
ALTERNATE:
1 cup flour
4 eggs
ADD: 1 tsp vanilla
Optional Chopped nuts

BAKE @ 350 in old magnalite brownie pan 12-15 minutes ...cool (13x13 pan)
Buttercream:
1/2 stick butter
1 lb confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
milk as needed to thin out cream
Cool and frost on brownies

Glaze:
MELT:
2 Tbsp butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
Cool slightly and quickly glaze brownies glaze
Refrigerate and cut

This is a favorite Lefkovitz family recipe. Having 5 children, by the time my mom went to get the brownies out of the ice box for her parties, 1/2 would have been sneakily taken by the kids.
They are delicious.
