4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 c. soy sauce
½ c. brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp. ginger, grated
½ c. pineapple juice
1 T. cornstarch
1 T. water
½ c. chopped green onions
½ c. can pineapple chunks (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1 – In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and pineapple juice to make the teriyaki marinade.
2 – Place chicken breasts in the marinade and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight for best results.
3 – Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
4 – Remove chicken from marinade, reserving the marinade.
5 – Grill the chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side until cooked through.
6 – While the chicken is cooking, pour the reserved marinade into a saucepan – bring to a boil.
7 – Mix cornstarch with water and add to the saucepan. Stir until the sauce thickens.
8 – Once the chicken is cooked, slice it and serve with the thickened teriyaki sauce.
9 – Garnish with chopped green onions and optional pineapple chunks.
