1 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon lemon flavouring
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and chill for 1 hour.
Roll out and cut dough in circles.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Stick 2 cookies together with icing or jam. Ice and decorate the top.
