1/2 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
2 c. cake flour
1 c. persimmon pulp
3 tsp. baking powder
2 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar till fluffy. Add pulp and eggs, beating after each addition. Sift other ingredients and add to mixture. Beat well. Pour into greased pan and bake at 350º for 1 hour.
