4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. ( 4 cups ) chopped pecans
1 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with sugar and eggs. Sift 3 cups flour with baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Take the remaining cup of flour and mix well with pineapple and nuts, coating them well. Stir into batter; add vanilla. Pour into a loaf pan lined with brown paper and grease well. Bake at 250º for three hours. Cool in pan.
