3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
6 eggs, separated
1/2 lb. Margarine
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar together. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together; add alternately with milk and vanilla mixed together, starting and ending with flour. Beat egg whites until fluffy; fold into batter. Bake in 3 greased and floured 8” round pans at 350 degrees for 35 minutes Frosting next page.

1 cup coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 lb. Margarine
6 egg yolks
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all except pineapple in a double boiler. After the mixture begins to thicken add the drained pineapple. Cool and spread between and on top of cake layers.
