2 cups flour
1/4 cup unsweetened 100% cocoa powder (not "dutch-processed")
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

12 oz 60% cocoa dark chocolate, finely chopped
12 Tbsp butter

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 cup oil
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups mini chocolate chips

Sugar Coating:
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325º. Use parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Microwave the chopped chocolate and butter for 15 seconds at a time, stirring often until smooth. Cool briefly.

In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, sugar and eggs. Add sour cream, oil, and vanilla. Fold in melted chocolate. Fold in dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Refrigerate 2 hours.

Use a cookie scoop and roll into balls. Roll in sugar first, then roll in powdered sugar.

Bake 10 minutes. Cool 20 minutes before removing from baking sheet.
