1 tsp soda
2 c self-rising flour
2 c sugar
2 sticks butter
3 tbsp cocoa, I use just a little less
1 c water
1/2 c buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the soda, flour, and sugar. Bring to a boil the buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon. Then add to the dry mixture. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350º.

1 stick butter
4 tbsp cocoa
6 tbsp milk
1 lb powdered sugar
Pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients (except pecans} together with a mixer. Stir in 1 cup chopped pecans. Pour over hot cake.
