12 large button or cremini mushrooms
8 ounces of fresh or canned crabmeat
4 ounces softened cream cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese softened
2 tablespoons of green onions finely chopped
1 garlic clove minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons melted butter
Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove stems, chop finely and set aside
In a mixing bowl combine crabmeat, cream cheese,Parmesan cheese,chopped mushroom stems, green onions, minced garlic, paprika and salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well incorporated.
Stuff each mushroom cap generously with crab mixture.
In a small bowl mix breadcrumbs with melted butter then sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top of stuffed mushrooms for a crispy finish.
Place mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
Remove from the oven-cool and garnish with parsley before serving
