1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 t. almond flavoring
5 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. cream of tartar
1/4 t. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugars. Add oil, eggs, vanilla, flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt; mix. Roll into balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press dough balls down with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes 8 to 10 dozen small cookies.

These are a really good sugar cookie that bakes so nice and neat by retaining there shape. They are super tender crisp, and taste devine. I like to press the cookie down on the cookie sheet with a glass that has a design on the bottom. The cookie just looks nicer with the design, but don't let it stop you from making them if you don't have a glass with a design.
